A couple of shows...

Summer is raging on and we have been running our feet off, but I thought I would take the time to recap a couple of shows we took the time to go to. First it was off to beautiful Duncan for the Wine Islands Growers Association conference. This show is always a pleasure to visit as the weather on the island never fails to be sunny and warm and I always appreciate the weekend escape!  This years show dealt specifically with:

-Soil Nutrition,
-Vegetative aromas,
-Sparkling wine production
-among other topics.

After the WIGA show we had a quick turnaround to get out to the British Columbia Grape Growers Associations annual conference as well. This show in Penticton is the largest in BC for grape growers and a good chance for us to catch up with our local customers and say hi to come newcomers in the wine and grape world. Topics covered in the Penticton show were to varied to list, but covered a wide verity of both viticultural and eneological topics.

You can find out more about these two shows at http://www.wiga.ca/ and http://www.bcwgc.org respectively.
